Caring Well Counseling started with one goal: to care well for those journeying through issues related to sexuality.

No shame, no judgement, just care.

Meet Matt

Hi! My name is Matt Krieg, and I am the director of Caring Well Counseling. I have been counseling professionally since 2011 when I graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary with my M.A. in Counseling. I strive to provide gracious counseling to anyone regardless of circumstances and know the power of an empathic in our life situations.  My areas of focus include sexuality, trauma, and pornography addiction. In my counseling, I utilize CBT techniques, narrative therapy, and spirituality to help each client assess and meet their underlying needs in ways that leads to a connected, present, and thriving life.

Meet Kerri

My deepest desire is to provide individuals with a safe judgment-free space to be authentically seen, known, and understood. I believe in compassionate grace-filled counseling that addresses and heals the issues that often underlie our painful emotions and behavior patterns. I have experience working with individuals facing: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, concerns relating to sexuality and gender, self-harm, body image issues, grief, and the effects of abuse/trauma. I have a Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Social Work along with a Bible/Theology degree from Kuyper College. I specialize in bringing faith and spirituality into the counseling experience and have extensive training with inner healing prayer from Ashland Theological Seminary.

Meet Nicole

I feel privileged to be able to walk alongside those journeying through life’s struggles including: sexuality issues, marital struggles, difficult transitions, trauma, deep wounding, anxiety, depression and stress. I strive to help empower individuals to live up to their full potential and develop healthy coping skills and self-esteem in order to begin to heal deep wounds. I believe each client has a unique story to tell and a proper treatment plan is developed around their personal needs and desires. I am passionate about women’s issues, marriage, parenting, emerging adults and spiritual formation.
